 I built my career in the field — not in a boardroom.  Over 30 years ago I entered the restoration and environmental consulting industry and never looked back. What started as hands-on field work became a lifelong commitment to understanding how buildings fail, how damage spreads, and how to protect the people and properties caught in the middle.  Today I hold IICRC certification — the industry's highest technical standard — and I am a Florida State Certified Mold Remediator, a state-regulated credential that carries real legal and professional weight. These aren't honorary titles. They represent thousands of hours of field work, continuing education, and a standard of practice I hold myself to on every single engagement.  I founded Edwards Environmental Consulting (EEC) because I kept seeing the same problems repeat themselves across the industry:  Homeowners being handed mold reports designed to scare them into signing five-figure remediation contracts they didn't need.  Property managers blindsided by water events because nobody had ever given them a clear, practical response protocol.  Attorneys and insurance adjusters building cases without access to a credentialed field expert who could speak to industry standards with authority.  Restoration operators working hard, doing good work, but leaving serious money on the table because they lacked the systems and strategy to scale.  EEC exists to solve all four.  As a Restoration Environmental Specialist, my work bridges environmental science and restoration practice.
